Greetings from the In2:InThinking Network!

After several weeks of final preparations, we are now proud to announce the opening of registration for our 2016 Forum, set for June 8th - 12th in greater Los Angeles, California.

Join us for the first time, or 15th time, as we celebrate another year of providing access to novel ideas that are essential to teamwork in any organization, with a simple theory t
hat the ability to work together and learn together is built upon a foundation of improving how we thinking together.   This year's Forum, titled "Know" Less - "Learn" More - INNOVATE!  features:
Link here to download our Forum brochure, filled with details on our entire program.

As previously announced, our early registration offer includes a $50 discount for registrations received on or before midnight (PT) on Wednesday, April 27th, leading to our regular registration rate of $400.

With our habit of teamwork and through the dedication and "pay it forward" outlook of our presenters, we are also
pleased to maintain our tradition of offering an exceptional collection of Pre-Conference sessions.  This year, we are offering 19 sessions in three parallel-tracks over three (3) days, all free with the exception of one session with a $15 material fee.
And, to help us offset costs for hosting the Pre-Conference expenses, we have added a daily attendance fee of $25 for these sessions.

As always, bring your ideas, stories, experiences, challenges, and opportunities to share and explore with peers in an environment that is always open to possibilities.   Whatever you decide, we invite you to join us for half a day or all five (5) days and take advantage of our once-a-year voyage, where our partnership with attendees, presenters, and a growing list of "Partners InThinking" continues to provide a Forum of exceptional ideas for an exceptional value.

For the first time in our 15-year history, we have selected the same title for consecutive years (2016 and 2017), "Know" Less - "Learn" More - INNOVATE!  What differs between years are the sub-titles, where we have selected "Expand Your Future" for 2016 and "Discover Our Future" for 2017.    In doing so, we are creating a 2-year focus on the contrast between knowing and learning, as well as a subtle shift in thinking from "Expand" to "Discover" as well as from, "Your Future" to "Our Future."

Our title inspiration comes in part from Josh Billings, the pen name of the 19th century author and humorist, Henry Wheeler Shaw.    Well known for provocations, Billings was fond of saying,  "I'd rather know a little less than so much that isn't so."  Dr. Deming was likewise inspired to use this quotation in his book, The New Economics.

Our 5-day Forum begins with three (3) days of Pre-Conference sessions, with 19 offerings, on

June 8th, from 7:00am - 7:15pm
June 9th, from 7:00am - 4:15pm
June 10th, from 7:00am - 4:15pm

As always, our Forum provides an environment where compelling ideas and insights will evolve from an exposure to new thoughts and open minds. And, these ideas and insights may lead you in untold exciting directions in your work and life after the Forum.

And now, we ask you to invest your time for a glimpse of the many dimensions of our 2016 Forum website (with summary details below) and, to consider what you will experience at our Forum, we welcome you to join us.

In2:InThinking Network 2016 Forum

"Know" Less - "Learn" More - INNOVATE!   Expand Your Future
Each month, we join with Aerojet Rocketdyne's (AR) InThinking Network to invite you to participate in a conference call with esteemed Thought Leaders and meet them mind-to-mind through the 17th year of Ongoing Discussion conference calls.   We are also partnering with AR in 2016 on their InThinking Roadmap efforts, the "Thinking Together About..." webinars, now in operation for a 5th year.   Once a year, we invite you to meet such Thought Leaders and fellow Network members and meet them both mind-to-mind and face-to-face.  Soon, it will be time to reconvene in Los Angeles.

Through our planning efforts, we selected a Forum theme which is inspired by the efforts of our members to engage in thinking transformations. This year we celebrate the ability of our members to know less, learn more, and innovate.  This year's presentations will provide us with ample opportunities to explore the potential for thinking together, learning together, and working together.

Bob Browne will get our thinking off the ground with an opening keynote on Friday night, titled "It's Not the Technology, It's the Neurology."  Ariane David and Amy Parish will follow on Saturday morning with a provocative session on apes, love, and power and a reminder that what we know might not be so.  Later that day, Joel & Michelle Levey will share insights in a session titled, "Wisdom at Work: Taking Einstein's Challenge to Heart in VUCA Times."  Curt Wegner will close on Sunday morning in a session titled, "Put Your Learning on Steroids: Mixing Adult Learning Principles with Continual Improvement Theory."

In between, we will be provoked on topics ranging from Music, Leadership and the Art of Getting Beyond to Dialogue/
Communologue: Beyond Negotiation and Agreement to Creating Context from which New Agreements Emerge
, in parallel-track sessions led by Bill Bellows, Shem Cohen, Bill Cummins, Julie Francis,  Paul Hollingworth, and Janis & David McCann.

And, let us not forget an evening with musical guest,
Kristofer Bergstrom and friends

As always, we have scheduled a wide variety of
Pre-Conference seminars and workshops, plus our new offering, The Dialogic Sessions.

With the exception of one session with a $15 material fee, all seminars and workshops are free of charge.
Topics ranging from Leadership: All Models are Wrong; Some are Useful to Social Construction - Here, There, and Anywhere to A Tribute to Jon Bergstrom: Bringing "Don't Know" Mind to Systems Learning to Learning Begins with Awareness, and Mindful Leadership - A Master Class for ExtraOrdinary Wisdom at Work are set three (3) days ahead of our Weekend Conference, making for five (5) days of mental and physical provocations.   All for an investment of your time, energy, and a registration fee structure we are dedicated to maintain.   No matter which session(s) you decide to attend, please register using the link above.
