Imagine There's No Disneyland

Some fifty years ago, Walt Disney offered that "Disneyland will never be completed.  It will continue to grow as long as there is imagination left in the world."   So much for the pursuit of perfection as the point past which we cannot grow, or better yet, develop, to honor the thinking of Russ Ackoff.  To believe in continuous improvement, as did Walt Disney, one must appreciate the limits of thinking about "getting there," as if there was an end point to discovering opportunities to invest.  To believe in perfection as an end point is to believe there's a limit to creativity; that

imagination will run to empty and Disneyland will one day be completed.

If you're interested in exploring the limitless implications of creativity and improving team work in industry, government, and education (including the ability to manage customer expectations, which includes the ability to distinguish customer delight from customer satisfaction), through better thinking about thinkingwe invite you to join us at the In2:InThinking Network 2011 Forum in Los Angeles, California on April 28th through May 3rd.  This year, our ever timely focus will be;

"Exploring Opportunities: Imagine...Define....Lead......"
